
A Ground Up Initiative
Love from Jyoti, a project with many branches, one that begun from literally nothing - a spark in the client's vision that stirred the initial conversations about this project. All we knew was potentially the name, but what that entailed was discovered as we began to work with one another and flesh out what is now a powerful movement and guiding education to people in the world. They need to feel empowered to live a joyful and free life. Given this was project was build from the ground up (double meaning there - check out my programme for further details) it has a lot of avenues, lots of facets, so I'm going to break it down into separate entries. Let's begin with the initial discussion.
Jyoti approached me to talk about this project, and like I alluded to at the start, she didn't know what this was going to be, or what this “thing” wanted to say. Other than, it was part of her higher purpose to bring forward this venture. So, given my intuitive process that I do for all clients, I ran the initial name of Love from Jyoti through the process. I was able to get glimmers of what this could be, and at least a starting point for us to start with to flesh out the brand. This first part began with discussing what would be needed to turn this into a powerful personal brand.
Photography
Prior to the photo shoot (captured by the amazing Beth - https://www.foliocreativeco.com), we established a bit of language, a bit of presence to what Love from Jyoti is, a sense of the feeling that gets invoked from the audience. This could then be fed into the conversation with the photographer. Jyoti beautifully relayed the feeling and the essence and the energy towards Beth, and she was able to capture some incredible photos that were used for this project and are still being used to this date on the website.
Do You Want to Create?
So this is something good to highlight: if you simply have a feeling, a gut feeling about something - maybe you know the name, but there are still many missing pieces, do get in touch. Even at that stage, we really don't need you to have everything figured out. There doesn't need to be a perfect plan. There doesn't need to be all the monetizations thought out, there doesn't need to be what colours you want to use. It doesn't need to be anything, but there just needs to be a truthful essence that you want to bring forward. We will know, we will be able to feel that from when you deliver the pitch, if you want to call it that.
Intuitive Process
If you're curious about how that process would look, if we take this project as an example - every project is a bit different, bear in mind, we began this project with the intuitive process. This is a deeply connected practice that I've learned over the years, a way to tap into the truth of what you're telling me. It helps me to guide you forward through the steps of the project. This is typically done by bypassing a lot of what our mind would create or what has simply been done before. So when we do this, everything that we get back from one of those sessions is then consolidated and formatted in a way that can be presented back to the client.
These discoveries are delivered through a video call, unless there's the pleasure of doing so in person. The reason this is not simply a PDF or email is so that I can then really feel into how the body language, the response, the feeling is from the client, and also honour and integrate their gut feelings too. So, a very collaborative, intuitive process. This will go through a few rounds to flesh out the initial idea and give us a scope of what we can begin with, importantly with no assumptions.
The Global Awakening
So, in this case we were fleshing out a personal brand that was going to be guiding people to connect with their inner self through self-love, empowering them and empowering others around them. So there was a clear goal, and it's a goal because of the general lack of true understanding of this, globally. Although I am sensing that this is increasing through the world, which is great, and there is a general conscious awakening that feels to be happening too.
The vision that was beginning to unfold, and another effective process to add in, is to gather related stock imagery to visualize the essence of what this project is. What this project is giving the audience as an experience, as an energy exchange. This also brings forward some terminology, some words, some themes, feelings - basically documenting the feeling of this. Humans are feeling beings, after all.
What's The Next Step?
All of this was put into a slideshow that was easy to refer back to and was easy then for the client to have a look at and for me to present. You can call this, the ideation stage, if you want to give it a traditional agency terms. Let's move forward and now have a look at the next entry - logo!
